Welcome to Hokkaido Winter Wonderland

Nestled at the base of Mt. Yotei—often called Ezo Fuji for its striking resemblance to Mt. Fuji—lies Makkari Village, a hidden gem in the heart of Hokkaido. With just 2,000 residents, this charming village offers a peaceful retreat surrounded by pristine nature, world-renowned powder snow, and a rich local culture.

Our accommodation is ideally located between two of Japan’s top ski destinations—just 15km from Niseko/Grand Hirafu Resort and 9km from Rusutsu Resort Hotel. With an average snowfall of 10–15 meters each winter, it’s a dream come true for powder chasers and snow lovers alike.
